Sharing the SharePoint site

To create a share for collaborating with SharePoint:

  1. In Meridian Enterprise Configurator, select the Vault Settings in the Environment branch of the configuration tree. The Vault Settings pages appear in the right pane.
  2. Click the GCF Configuration tab. The GCF Configuration options appear.
  3. Click New. The Shared Vault Details dialog box appears.
  4. Type or Click options or type values using the descriptions in the following table.
Meridian share options

Option

Description

Shared vault type

Select Microsoft SharePoint.

Share name

The GCF share name as described in Installing the SharePoint processors.

SharePoint Site

The URL of site collection.

Remote Access WS

The URL of the GCF Remote Access Web Service as described in Installing the GCF Remote Access Web Service.

User name and Password

If the SharePoint server and the computer running the SharePoint GCF processors are in the same network, the SharePoint user account. If the computers are in different networks, a valid account on the computer where the GCF Remote Access Web Service is installed.

Protocol

Select File Copy.

Transfer address

The path to the folder that contains the incoming briefcases.
  1. Click OK to save your changes. The new share information appears in the share list.
  2. Click OK to save your changes.
